About Us

History

Thul Specialty Contracting, based in the metropolitan area of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota, is a specialized construction company that operates primarily through out Minnesota and the 4 surrounding states of Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota.   Since its inception in 2004, Thul Specialty Contracting has focused on providing specialty construction services to state, municipal, industrial and institutional customers.

We focus on but are not limited to the rehabilitation, repair, waterproofing and coating of potable water and wastewater processing structures and facilities including: Collection Systems, Headworks, Secondary Containment Units, Clarifiers, Digesters, Manholes, Lift Stations, Wet Wells, Valve Vaults with interior pipes valves and steel structures, Interceptors, Pump Stations, Water Tanks, Filtration Tanks, Poured in Place Concrete, Pre-Cast Concrete, Culverts and Storm Sewer Structures.

Our customers include the state of Minnesota Department of Transportation and Metropolitan Council servicing the Twin Cities area, MAC, Metropolitan Airports Commission MN, Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA), People Service Inc. and numerous municipalities large and small in the 5 state region.  Commercial and institutional customers include IBM, University of Minnesota, the Kerry Group and other property management companies and facility/plant operators.
